Every week at Pawesome Pets Country Club, something new is happening. A scent hunt. A recall game. Splash time in a doggie pool. These are just a few examples of the fun experiences your dog can have when they become a member.

Our Monthly Enrichment Program: 

Every membership tier at Pawesome Pets Country Club includes access to a weekly enrichment program. All of the activities are designed around several principles:

• Games that engage your dog’s brain and/or nose
• Reinforce or teach new skills
• Introduction/desensitization to new sights and sounds
• Confidence building

Here’s how it works. Each month has its own theme. Each week, a new activity is designed around that theme and run by our staff. The activities rotate so your dog is never doing the same thing twice.

Take June as an example. The monthly theme is Camp Canine, a summer camp-inspired experience designed for dogs. Week one kicks off with the Campground Treasure Hunt: treats hidden under cones, behind logs, and inside tents while dogs use their noses and instincts to track down every last one. From there, Camp Ranger Recall takes over in week two, where dogs race back to their counselors for treats, toys, and praise in a game that builds one of the most valuable skills a dog can have. By week three, the play yard transforms into Campground Zoomie Zones, with sprint lanes and obstacle pathways built for full-speed fun. To close out the month, every camper earns their very own Camp Completion Certificate, complete with their own paw print signature.

Every month looks different. The theme changes, the activities change, and your dog gets a fresh experience every single week they’re here.

Why Mental Enrichment Matters

Physical exercise matters. Nobody’s arguing that. But a dog who only gets physical activity and no mental stimulation is a bit like a kid who only gets recess and no class. There’s energy being burned, but something important is missing. Let’s talk about why it’s important to engage your dog’s brain and other senses.

Engage your dog’s brain and nose:

Games that engage your dog’s brain and nose tap into something deeply wired into every dog. A 2008 study found that when dogs were given enrichment activities that encouraged natural foraging and scent-based searching, they showed measurably lower stress behaviors like barking and pacing, and higher levels of purposeful, contented activity. Their brains were engaged, and it showed.

Teach new skills:

Reinforcing and teaching new skills does more than build obedience. Research published in ScienceDirect found that mental stimulation through reward-based training was one of the most consistently effective tools for improving behavior in dogs struggling with fear and anxiety. Skills like recall aren’t just practical. They build a dog’s trust in the people around them, which carries into every other part of their life.

New sights and sounds:

Introducing dogs to new sights and sounds in a safe, positive environment is one of the most powerful things you can do for their long-term emotional well-being. Studies show that dogs who experience regular, guided exposure to novel stimuli develop stronger stress resilience over time. The goal isn’t to overwhelm. It’s to teach them that new things are safe to explore.

Build Confidence:

Confidence building happens through repeated success in a safe, supportive environment. Every time your dog finds the hidden treat, navigates the course, or responds to a cue and gets rewarded, they build a quiet but durable sense of capability. Research shows that dogs who receive regular positive experiences demonstrate stronger stress resilience and perform better when faced with new challenges. A confident dog isn’t born that way. They get there through accumulated wins.

The Membership Tiers

Pawesome Pets Country Club has three membership tiers to choose from, so you can find the one that best fits. All three tiers include the weekly enrichment program, a 5% discount on boarding, retail, and dog food. Where they differ is in what else comes with them.

Bronze Bark — $20/month:

 The entry point. Weekly enrichment, member discounts. If you want your dog to participate in the program every week without anything extra, this is it.

Silver Snout — $30/month:

 Everything in Bronze Bark plus a monthly treat, a monthly bandana, a Paw-casso art session, and a brush out. The total value of what’s included is $50, and you get all that for just $30 a month.

Golden Paw — $50/month:

 Everything in Silver Snout plus a monthly nail trim and one monthly one-on-one skill-building session. Those sessions cover confidence building for shy dogs, impulse control, loose leash walking, recall games, and trick training. Combined value for this plan totals $97, and you get it all for just $50 a month.

Daycare days will need to be purchased separately. They can be purchased individually or in prepaid packages of 5, 10, or 20. For dogs who live to be here, ask us about the Lifetime Membership Package, which covers unlimited daycare up to five days per week at a customized rate based on your dog’s age.

What a Trial Day Looks Like

If your dog hasn’t spent time at Pawesome Pets Country Club before, the trial day is the place to start. It’s $35, available once per dog before purchasing a membership, and it gives your dog a full day in the facility so your pup can see what it’s actually like before committing to anything.
